AMSTERDAM
Aquarius
20 January-19 February
The 3rd brings another opportunity to your doorstep. Look at this very closely. Do the math. Would this opportunity enhance, detract, or be a lateral move? Unless this possibility has more benefits, greater happiness, better pay, more humane hours, and so on, you probably shouldn't take it on. But don't automatically say no, either. Wait a couple weeks and do some very discreet checking. Look at the pros and cons – particularly if the commission or salary is almost the same. If this new opportunity is closer to where you live, that might save gas money, time, and be less wearing. How stable is this new offer? Is this group growing and succeeding, or is it cutting costs, employees, and services? Use this Mercury retro phase to research what offer works best for you. It would be so easy to fall for another's very seductive sales pitch on the14th, or get all excited about yet to occur possibilities on the 8th or 9th, but take a breath, pause and think. Although Mercury officially goes direct on the 12th, don't bet the house, car, boat, or bike on things suddenly going smoothly. Wait until Mercury is out of its storm (similar to an extra retro phase) on the 17th. By then, you'll be better informed, more convinced about what to do, and how to handle a situation. Brace yourself for some very hot and clever tactics on the 14th, though, particularly if you allow physical attraction and business to occasionally, um, merge. That day will certainly test your will power. You'll probably enjoy the exquisite pain of wanting someone while feeling totally conflicted about the job issue. Look at it this way: If you're available and he or she is available, it doesn't really matter where you work. In fact, things might work out far better if you didn't work with someone you're raving hot for – less messy office gossip. The 18th greenlights you to make an announcement. Some of you make it on the 17th. Either day works fine. The 21st produces sparks that those who are unfamiliar with you might view as challenges or arguments. You and another may not agree on every point, but together can generate a huge success. You make a great team, each of you balancing the other one out. When your team member fails to notice a detail, you point it out – and vice versa. Together, you're a complete package. The 22nd (fall Equinox) pushes the Sun into Libra, and helps you and a team member to round out your concept and do a little more polishing on your presentation. On the Full Moon (September 23rd) you are ready to pitch a brilliant new item, program, service (fill in the blanks) to an elite group of decision makers. You'll get what appears to be an affirmative answer no later than the 30th. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to work, baby! Monthly touchstone: Red Tigers Eye.
